Mxolisi Msutwana

Mxolisi Msutwana is the COO of Baxi by MFS Africa.

Prior to his role with Baxi, Mxolisi held various roles with MFS Africa, including Chief Network Operation Officer, Chief Operation Officer and General Manager - Operations.

When he took over as GM – Operations of MFS Africa, Mxolisi was charged with preparing the function to run a more than 10x scale-up on volumes and values processed back then. MFS Africa has since accomplished a more than 20x growth and counting. I

Before joining MFS Africa, Mxolisi worked mainly in the telco industry, having worked at both MTN and Cell C in service delivery as part of customer support throughout the Sub-Saharan region (both in on and offshoring models). He has worked with varied financial services entities such as money transfer organisations, banks, e-commerce merchant service providers, and mobile financial services spaces. Mxolisi holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree (with part-study in Germany on scholarship), a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Administration, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
