Satoshi Shinada
Satoshi is a General Partner of Kepple Africa Ventures, based in Lagos, Nigeria.
With 10 years of experience in spearheading co-investment and project development with Japanese companies in Africa and other emerging markets, Satoshi invests in African startups and connects them with strategic Japanese investors who provide technical partnership, global network, and exit opportunities.
From 2010 to 2014, he was a Director of Sojitz Corporation in Nigeria, investing in infrastructure and energy projects in West Africa. He led the first desalination project in Sub-Saharan Africa at a commercial scale, investing $20M and arranging project finance of $100M from Standard Bank.
Satoshi holds a Bachelor of Science from University of Tokyo and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School.
