Tine Fisker Henriksen
Tine is the Innovative Finance Lead at the Bertha Centre for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship, based in Cape Town, South Africa. In her role at the Bertha Centre, Tine manages multiple projects focused on strengthening the impact investing sector in South Africa and Africa at large. She has worked with the World Bank, DBSA and multiple local investment funds to set up innovative finance mechanisms that drive more capital to small and growing business. As part of her work at the Centre, she also supports foundations, financial intermediaries, DFIs, social entrepreneurs, start-ups, and investment funds to adopt and strengthen social investment strategies.Prior to joining the Bertha Centre, she worked as a strategy advisor to SNV Netherlands Development Organisation’s Managing Board, focusing on new business models and key trends in sustainable development. At SNV, she also led multiple projects across Africa focused on impact investing and social enterprise acceleration as part of the team that set up the organisation’s Impact Investing Advisory Services. She has worked in Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa on impact investing projects in the renewable energy and agriculture sector. Tine holds a M.Sc. in International Business & Politics from Copenhagen Business School and a B.A in BSc. Public Administration and Social Science.
